I'm Cate, a wedding and elopement photographer based in the midwest. I’m passionate about what I do and love capturing genuine, candid, and unrepeatable moments. I’m there for it all— the joy, laughter, emotion, and beauty of your wedding day. I love it when my couples relax, go with the flow, and enjoy themselves.
OUR APPROACH IS SIMPLY THIS:

I approach your session, elopement, and wedding day primarily in a documentary style. That means I don't do a lot of posing and I follow you and your boo as the session or day unfolds. I want to capture the genuine emotion and interactions with you, your soon-to-be spouse, family, and friends. However, there are parts of the day where I bring an editorial, or more posed, style. This is typically during couples, family, or wedding party portraits.

I am unapologetically myself and I encourage the same of my clients. This day is about YOU, nobody else, so do what YOU want to do. On top of a mountain alone or in your hometown surrounded by loved ones, I love when my clients have the wedding of their dreams and I'm here to capture that dream and turn it into a memory you can keep for a lifetime.
